WHAT I LEARNED

lesson.jpg

WHAT WAS MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE?

I developed my consulting skills within this project. Most notably, I learned to inquire about an organization’s needs and develop an action plan for addressing those specific needs. I also learned how to align the final delivered product with the organization’s culture and goals.

WHAT BARRIERS DID I OVERCOME?

This project was conducted after the start of the pandemic and was done completely online. As such, we were forced to adapt our communication (i.e., style, frequency, tools). We had to ensure that we initiated frequent communication with our Center contacts. Communication involved acquiring information and giving updates regarding the training program. We also began to use internet-based tools to communicate, such as Zoom.
